As followers of St. Francis, we are called to care for the whole person. The friars involved in education strive in various ways to help form young people in Christian values as well as knowledge. We staff St. Francis High School in La Cañada Flintridge, California, and are also involved in the parish schools of Our Lady of Angels in Burlingame and St. Lawrence of Brindisi in Watts.
This school was founded right after World War II. For many years the friars have served here educating young men in Christian faith and values as well as equipping them with knowledge for their life. The high school has grown over the years, but the friars still work in both teaching and administration, as well as serving the local community in many ways.
Our Lady of Angels is a vibrant school, educating children from pre-school to eighth grade in the truths of the faith. The students receive an excellent education, and the friars strive to be part of their lives through visits, prayers, and masses.
St. Lawrence School helps educate young people to prepare for a better future. The friars in Watts seek to share both the ministry of the church and our fraternal life of prayer and concern for others with the students.
